Server-side processing | Ruby on Rails
Important - Do not use this script for new development - it will not work! It is no longer maintained and does not support DataTables 1.10+'s server-side processing mode. This page is retained only for legacy users and it will likely be removed in the near future.
Chris Warren has kindly set up a GitHub repository with everything that is required to connect a Rails back-end to DataTables, using server-side process. Detailed instructions are also included for how to set up the server-side controllers and initialise the table.
